Serangoon Road which premieres on ABC1 on Sunday week, is named after the island’s bustling, multicultural thoroughfare.
The detective series is set against the ‘realities’ of Singapore in 1964 and aims to be “authentic to the place and time.”

Speaker: Paul Barron, producer and creator of Serangoon Road, which starts on ABC1 on 22 September.
The ten-part series is a collaboration between ABC and HBO Asia, and the participation of the Media Development Authority of Singapore.
