Mongolian President Elbegdorj to visit Singapore next week


Mongolian President Tsakhia Elbegdorj will visit Singapore from November 24 to 27 at the invitation of Singapore President Tony Tan Keng Yam.

SINGAPORE: Mongolian President Tsakhia Elbegdorj will visit Singapore from November 24 to 27 at the invitation of Singapore President Tony Tan Keng Yam.


A Ministry of Foreign Affairs statement said it will be the Mongolian leader’s first state visit to Singapore as President.


During his visit, President Elbegdorj will make a courtesy call on President Tan and meet Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong at the Istana.


President Tan will also host a state banquet in honour of the Mongolian leader.


In addition, President Elbegdorj will visit institutions to learn about Singapore’s environmental policies and promote business ties between his country and Singapore.


He will be accompanied by Mongolian senior officials and a business delegation.
