LEGENDARY British rock group The Rolling Stones will rock Marina Bay Sands in Singapore on March 15.
The group, led by Sir Mick Jagger will entertain at the Sands Grand Ballroom.
Themed 14 On Fire, it is part of the Rolling Stones 14 On Fire Tour and is presented by Prudential and Eastspring Investments.
Sir Mick, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood head back out on the road across Asia, Australia and New Zealand following a mammoth run of concerts in the United States and the United Kingdom last year.
In a statement, Sir Mick says: “We can’t wait to be back on stage in Singapore. I am really looking forward to playing all your favourite songs and seeing you all very soon.”
“The best place in the world for me is out on that stage. Standby everyone, it’s back to where we belong, Mick, Charlie, Ronnie and me, all rocking out together. The wheels are in motion and we’re on our way!,” Richard adds.
Taylor, who was a member of the Rolling Stones from 1969 till 1974, will be a special guest for the tour.
The intimate stage design for the concert will allow audience members to be up close to the band. It includes a large catwalk that extends out into the audience.
The band will treat fans with classic hits such as Gimme Shelter, Paint It Black, Jumping Jack Flash, Tumbling Dice and It’s Only Rock ‘N’ Roll.
Tickets to the 8pm show are priced between S$250 (RM625) and S$700.
