Celebrating Valentine’s Day just wouldn’t be complete without intricately decorated chocolate gifts from SweetSpot.



The Sweet Heart “Cake for Two” makes a perfect Valentine’s Day gift along with themed chocolate pralines and macaroons. The Sweet Heart “Cake for Two” (S$36) is a dark chocolate mousse cake with raspberries, chambord ganache and sacher cake, while the  Chocolate for Two is a pair of airbrushed chocolate heart pralines filled with wild raspberry ganache (S$5). Celebrate romance this Valentine’s Day with db Bistro Moderne as Executive Chef Jonathan Kinsella prepares a special four-course menu (S$148++) featuring exceptional dishes such as the King Crab Salad, Boston Lobster Tagliolini and Seared Foie Gras. For mains, choose from John Dory with butter poached prawns or Veal Trio “En Blanquette” with roasted tenderloin, braised cheek and crispy sweetbreads.



Make this Valentine’s Day unforgettable with db Bistro Moderne’s Ultimate Romance Package (S$988++ per couple) with exclusive use of the beautiful private dining room to enjoy an intimate four-course Valentine’s Day dinner for two, complete with roses and champagne upon arrival and bottle of Premier Cru Red Burgundy to enjoy over dinner. Couples will also get to bring home a taste of the db Bistro Moderne experience with a copy of Daniel Boulud’s book, Cocktails Amuse-Bouches, For Her For Him.



For an exquisite Valentine’s Day dinner with an Italian flair, head over to Osteria Mozza for a five-course Chef’s Tasting Menu prepared by Executive Chef David Almany. The dinner is priced at S$128++ per person and features a selection of Italian specialties from the Mozzarella Bar such as the caprese of burrata, vine-ripened tomatoes and basil pesto, Ricotta with braised artichokes, pine nuts, currants and mint pesto and burrata with beets, horseradish and walnuts. Savour signature dishes such as the Ricotta and Egg Raviolo with black truffle, Grilled Whole Sea Bream for Two with fresh herbs and olio nuovo, as well as Roasted Veal Loin for Two with melted shallots and Maitake mushrooms. Wine pairing is available at a supplemental $100++ per person.



At Sky on 57, Chef Justin Quek has lent his creative touch to the Valentine’s Day menu, Un Soir d’Amour – An Evening of Love. Couples will be charmed by the scenic view at 57 storeys and delight in unique creations such as “Utopia’s Paradise” (salmon trout confit, Gillardeau oyster, sea urchin and Oscietra caviar), “Love Potion” (roasted vine-ripened tomato velouté, poached Maine lobster and basil emulsion) and “Neptune Passion” (Nordic king crab meat vermicelli in superior ham broth). The six-course dinner includes a complimentary glass of champagne and is priced at S$250++ per person with additional wine pairing at S$108++ per person.



Enjoy a bespoke experience at The Bar at Waku Ghin with a tasting plate of five handmade artisan chocolates and three Single Malt Whiskys at S$88++ for the entire month of February.



Dining and retail promotions at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands



This Valentine’s Day, Au Chocolat is presenting a set menu at S$120++ for two all-day on February 13 and 14, featuring two delectable main course choices – the duo of US beef or the pan-fried Pacific red snapper and meunière sauce grilled prawns. Italian restaurant Caffé B is also presenting a five-course S$180++ Valentine’s special from February 9 to 14, inclusive of free flow wines and its well-loved dessert lemon semi freddo served with candied lemon tuile and orange caramel sauce.



The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands is a perfect destination for late-night shopping over this romantic season. From February 7 to 14, both Banana Republic and Gap will be offering a 20% discount off regular priced items with any purchase of two items. From February 1 to 28, luxury pearl jeweler Mikimoto will also present its Valentine’s Day collection featuring an intricate love pendant in 18K pink gold with Akoya pearl and diamond worth S$1,590.



Single or not, ladies can party it up at the ever chic ultra-lounge Pangaea on February 14 and enjoy complimentary entry plus a glass of champagne before 1am. Come February 15, Pangaea will also be holding its annual Slumber Party Pillow Fight to celebrate the birthday of Michael Ault, Founder of Pangaea. Entry fee per person is S$40.
